Meditation & yoga guidance
Cultivate new ways to support your inner peace and strength

Hi I’m Andrea — a yoga and meditation teacher passionate about helping others discover their strength, resilience, and inner calm. From Peace Corps service in Paraguay to my work as a pediatric nurse, Ironman triathlons, motherhood, and life as a two-time breast cancer survivor, my journey has taught me that every breath holds the power to transform. My classes are a welcoming space where you can move with intention, breathe deeply, and feel supported as you create balance and peace in your life.
Allow me to teach you proven skillsets to retrain your thought patterns to create a mental environment where you are less reactive, more present and even less stressed. I offer both in-person and online meditation and yoga classes.
I believe we are all capable of peace in our body and mind. Sometimes it just takes a little reminding.
With formal and informal meditation and yoga practices, I guide you through opportunities to paradoxically both accept and reset your mental and physical patterns. Together we create space for a greater sense of self-acceptance and compassion so you can sort through your worries without missing out on all the fun.

Online Courses
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) helps you manage stress and build resilience through meditation, movement, and mindful awareness.
Guided Meditation
In MBSR courses, meditation includes simple practices like breathing, body scans, gentle movement, and mindful walking. These techniques help you notice thoughts and feelings with more calm and clarity, and bring mindfulness into everyday life.
Gentle Movement
MBSR gentle movement involves simple yoga-inspired stretches and postures that anyone can do. The focus is on moving with awareness, listening to your body, and building a sense of ease rather than pushing for performance.
Mindful Awareness
Mindfulness practice in MBSR means paying attention to your thoughts, feelings, and everyday experiences with curiosity and without judgment. It helps you respond to stress with greater calm, clarity, and balance.

MBSR 8-Week Course
My MBSR course is an eight-week program with weekly group sessions and daily home practice. We start with foundational practices like the body scan, mindful breathing, and gentle movement, then expand into walking meditation, stress awareness, and working with thoughts and emotions. Near the end, there’s a full-day silent retreat to deepen the experience. By the final week, you’ll have practical tools to manage stress, sharpen focus, and bring more balance into daily life.

Applicable Skills
I really enjoyed how [Andrea] walked us through each part of the program, then continued to follow up and integrate each subject in future classes. [She] really helped bring these lessons and tactics to life, and I didn’t feel like I was taking a course where I would be bored or forget the lesson. [She] also asked great questions to really get me to think and apply these lessons to my life. In the same token [she] was a great listener when I answered and provided my thoughts and feelings.
